Working Principle

How does a Helical Gear Pump work?

A horizontal-shaft pump with two external helical gears. As the shaft turns, the gears draw liquid into the inlet, trap it between the gear teeth, and carry it around the casing to the outlet.

By-Pass/Pressure Relief Valve Operation:

A spring-loaded, adjustable valve that protects the pump and drive system from overpressure caused by blockages or closed discharge valves. When pressure exceeds the set point, it opens and recirculates fluid from the discharge side back to the suction side, reducing pressure until normal flow is restored.

Key Features

  • Shaft Support: On both sides of the gears.
  • Pulse-Free Operation: With reduced noise and vibration.
  • Suction Lift: Up to 300 meters and pressure up to 15 bar.
  • Durable and Reliable: For continuous duty.
  • High-Load Carrying Capacity: And smooth fluid delivery due to helical gears and multiple teeth.
  • Precise Transfer and Metering: Applications involving polymers, fuels, and chemical additives.
  • Wide Variety of Accessories: Heating/cooling jackets,  ByPass/Pressure Relief Valves.
