Working Principle

How Does a Rotary Lobe Pump work?

Two lobes rotate within the pump housing without contact via timing gears in the gearbox. As they turn, fluid is drawn into expanding cavities, trapped between the lobes and casing, and conveyed to the discharge port, allowing solids to pass through with the fluid.

Design

These pumps deliver a consistent flow rate regardless of system pressure, ideal for applications with varying discharge conditions or fluid properties. Constructed from wear-resistant components, they feature interchangeable elastomer-coated lobes, a front pull-out design for easy maintenance, and a range of drive options.
